This better grade of cushion foam is called “Closed Cell” “Bonded” “Re-bond” or “Blended Foam”.  It is made with about 70% less air and is much tighter in structure.  It has a “Latex” additive that adds to the long life of the cushion and is much more comfortable to sit on.

3.) Better Fabric Choices -  Most Upholstery Shops offer a much higher quality line of Upholstery Fabrics than are generally installed on a new couch or chair.  This Premium quality lends itself to to advantages for you the consumer.  It will last much longer… and will be backed by your local Upholstery Tech’s warranty.

The last but best advantage for choosing to re-furbish used home furniture, is that you will get to pick out the fabric that best fits in with your interior decor.  Most Upholstery Shops can offer you hundreds of choices in fabric styles and colors.
